Bernard Malachane – Founder, Managing Partner

  • Founder and CEO of Merioneo Technology. Through his 20 years experience at key positions in leading defence and telecom companies, he built and acquired significant skills in the overall management of technology-based innovation. His expertise covers management of new business development, technology transfer, and capacity to handle cooperation especially in the frame of R&D European collaborative projects. Prior to founding Merioneo Technology, he spent many years in France Telecom, providing support to innovation initiatives, sourcing and partnering innovative Small Business and/or ICT start ups. He developed capacity building training methods for innovative entrepreneurs.
    He graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications of Paris and earned a MBA at HEC (Paris)

Pierre-Michel Amiel – Managing Partner

  • Now consultant in capital raising, M&A and strategy, Pierre-Michel Amiel began his professional career in the banking industry and then became an Entrepreneur. Graduated in Business Law, Political Sciences and Management Control, he was first in charge of Corporate Finance and Structured Finance (aircraft, projects, export-finance) in major domestic and international banks.Then he successfully founded PRLine, which introduced the concept of electronic distribution of corporate financial information to France in April 1998. Today known as Companynewsgroup (a subsidiary of Euronext), the company is European leader in the distribution of company news on electronic Medias. He brings his wide and deep knowledge of business especially in the questions related to start-ups (business models, fund raising, strategic partnerships) in various economic sectors.

Jean-Jacques Vallotton – Managing Partner

  • Jean-Jacques brings 25 years experience with technology companies. He started his career in R&D with Steria and Sodern.  In ’90 he joined Antycip where he founded and managed the Simulation Business Unit. In that capacity he took Antycip as a key leader of the simulation business in Europe. Since 1999 he has been holding operation management positions with Intergraph, startups (e.g. cofounder of LTU Technologies, spun off from Inria) and venture capital firms.  He joined Merioneo in 2007.  His expertise covers strategy and new business development  in software tools, Electronic Design Automation and medical technology. JJ holds a MS with a major in signal processing from the University of Nice.
